Remember Who You Really Are and Return to True Center in 2024 with Monthly True Center Workshops
Happy New Year! The year 2024 marks the 8th year anniversary of True Center! As we celebrate eight years of service in the Woodstock community, more than ever we as an organization are committed to vital work that contributes to a more connected and compassionate community and world. That begins with self-connection and an awareness of who you really are. We begin with true center—your true center.
True Center is a resilient organization empowered by a the strong Woodstock community in Cherokee County. We are passionately dedicated and committed to a strong vision and mission that have inspired us since our inception as an educational nonprofit organization in 2016. Our work reaches people throughout the US and throughout our increasingly connected world.
Our mission at True Center is to foster opportunities for personal transformation and community enrichment for the greater good. With renewed resolve, humility and passion we recommit to this mission. As we enter the new year, we know the work of True Center is more important than ever.
At True Center we envision a thriving community in which every individual is a valued contributor to the whole. This vision is supported by the following values:
- Connection and Community
- Wholeness and Integration
- Action, Expansion, Engagement
- Truth and Alignment
- Nature and Natural Systems
- Peace and Compassion
- Sustainability
- Inclusivity
True Center’s services and programs are organized around 3 Transformative Pathways to support self-connection:
- Remember who you are
- Reclaim your voice of truth
- Restore your connection to wholeness
Communities thrive when the connections within them are healthy and strong. Because we know that true connection begins within each one of us, our True Center programs offer a warm and welcoming space where you can experience deeper connection as you remember who you are, reclaim your voice of truth, and restore your connection to wholeness. The name of our organization, True Center, and the name of founder Eve Willson’s second book, Come Home to Your True Center, signifies that deepest space within each of us where we feel most connected and from which all other connections can expand. Self-connection is so important and informs how we experience life.
This new year brings new and exciting opportunities to connect and thrive in community, beginning with the Self. We are calling it a Year of Self-Remembrance.
All our programs during 2024 are designed to support you in learning more about yourself and what makes you you… the magnificent person you already are!
Self-connection through self-remembering is essential. It leads to self-acceptance, compassion, and inspiration for living a more connected and authentic life. When you embrace the simple process of self-remembrance, you are transformed. You can begin to enjoy life as the REAL YOU, connecting to your authentic self from your True Center.
As you remember the truth of who you really are, you naturally begin to live and express your life as the authentic you. Then, as you express your voice of truth more fully in the world, you experience an exhilarating sense of wholeness. You gain a deeper understanding that we are all connected in oneness.
Self-connection through remembering who you really are is the connection from which all your other connections in life expand.
The team at True Center extends a warm invitation to you to join us on this journey of unfolding self-awareness, self-connection and purposeful living—starting with connecting with who you really are. On the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:00-7:30 pm we hold space for a Free Community Connection Workshop at the Milton branch of the Fulton County Library System. The Milton library is located at 855 Mayfield Road, Milton, GA 30009. No registration is needed.
Each monthly workshop is created around a topic that supports living a more satisfying, purposeful and engaged life. The next workshop is will be held on Tuesday, January 9. Our topic will be: Remember Who Are You, Really!! All programs include various activities such as (but not limited to) brief discussion, self-reflective journaling, yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises.
Also stay tuned for additional True Center program offerings to be announced throughout 2024! These programs for self-remembrance are designed to inform, education, ignite curiosity, and inspire personal transformation and community enrichment. We look forward to connecting with you in 2024!
